StayPicks was born from its creators’ passion for travel. We focus on popular destinations, mix in some rising stars, and share tips on what to see, do, and how to get by around the world. Whether you’re completely new to a place or already planning a trip, we aim to give you ideas for things to do and useful advice, like how to get around and where to stay.

The people who write for StayPicks have either lived in the places they write about or spent a lot of time there, really getting to know the area. We highlight local, small-scale businesses, shops, services, and accommodations, and pass on those golden tips we’ve gotten from locals.

The guide was first launched as a personal website. Even though it has grown since then, the same down-to-earth spirit still guides everything we do.
